BUST Craftacular

This weekend was the fantastic BUST Magazine summer craftacular. I had a stall there with Isabel Vince selling our wooly goods.

It was incredibly busy and lots of fun meeting other crafty folk. I even spotted a couple of my brooches out in the wild! There's a great review of it up on The Guardian.

I've put my photos of our stall up here. And Fabric Nation managed to take a lot more than me and you can see them here.

Gritting the Tunnel

Yesterday I went along to a graffiti knitting event organised by I Knit London. It was lots of fun! I did my first bit of yarnstorming, but it was a mere tag compared to Knit the City's epic spider web filled with captured creatures (photo above). There's more of my pics on flickr here. And there's some much better ones here from zefrog, I was caught pink-handed...!

I'm currently working with Isabel on a crazy mechanical sheep project. It's going to be a fun game to play at the V&A museum's Village Fete. Come and see us and try and win some fantastic prizes!

My latest obsession...

Anyway at least it's a lot of fun

Having fun on Etsy

I joined etsy as a seller recently to show off my new knitting earrings but the best thing I've found is the community there. I've been having a lot of fun in the forums and found lots of people selling really awesome things! So I decided to put together a treasury showing off the great sellers who make miniature bits and pieces too. Have a closer look and check out the amazingly intricate work!

I let the moustache do the talking

I designed myself a new t-shirt recently with one of my fave catchphrases on it and ordered it from cafepress. It came yesterday and I'm sooooo pleased with it!
If you'd like to share the moustache fun times you can get yourself one from cafepress.com

Spring has sprung

It might still be really cold out and a few weeks until the official start of spring but the sun is out and I'm ready for springtime fun times! So is my new friend Benoit, we had a little photo shoot in the garden today. He had to wear his 'bee-ret' (hahaha) to keep warm though. More photos here.

A bit more web design...

Well this plan is lasting longer than expected...
I've just finished a website for The Society for Curious Thought. It's a really interesting site showcasing essays on a variety of subjects from politics to arts to being human. Have a look around here www.thesocietyforcuriousthought.com

When I grow up I want to be...

...a web designer! Well for this week at least.
I've built a website for my friend Isabel Vince. She knits and sews, and is an artist and designer.
We made a fun little animation for the front page and there's lots of lovely pictures to see. Have a look around!
